Entry Requirements
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. Aged 18 above. Residents of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan who have emigrated to other countries and are applying to Qingdao University as international students must present valid passport or citizenship documents dating from before April 30, 2021, along with proof of cancellation of Chinese nationality.
Applicants should be healthy, both physically and psychologically, with no criminal record, friendly to China and must abide by the laws and decrees of China.
Have graduated from high school (Graduating students can provide pre-graduation certificates first, then provide the graduation certificates no later than registration.)
Applicants should provide academic transcripts from high school and any higher education institutions they have attended. Your average scores should be higher than 70% and every subject should be higher than 60%.
Applicants should have strong English Language skills. Applicants from non-English speaking countries should provide records of their English learning from primary and secondary school or a certificate of English proficiency from a standardized English test.

Program Description
1. Program Overview
Editor Notes: The professional training in the coming 6 years will help student acquire new knowledge, attitudes, and skills to become a specialized personnel in medical services, education and scientific research.
The program of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery includes three parts
During pre-clinical year, the core basic science knowledge which needed to succeed in clinical clerkships will be taught prior to the core clinical knowledge, while the richness of more advanced science is best suited to students when they preparing for the basic medical courses coming ahead. In addition, exposing to Chinese culture is an indispensible experience through the entire process. This part of the curriculum includes Chinese Language, Physics, Chemistry, etc.
Following the intellectual transformation that occurs during first year, students will be more receptive to basic medical courses which include Medical Biology, Systematic Anatomy, Regional Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Medical Immunology, Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, Medical Psychology, Medical Statistics, Clinical Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Diagnostics, Forensic Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Community Medicine, Laboratory of Cell and Molecular Biology, Laboratory of Microstructure and Laboratory of Functional Experiment.
After the first 3 years of the program, emphasis is placed on the clinical sciences. The venue of education transfers from classrooms to the multiple hospitals, clinics, and medical care facilities affiliated with the School. Clinical clerkship last 72 weeks and supplemented by a longitudinal multidisciplinary curriculum that incorporates mentoring, assessment, and ambulatory care experiences. Chinese students under combined bachelor’s/master’s degree programs will participate in this process and mutual help will play a great role in the learning progresses of both side of students. Since this internationalized education program lay emphasis on the liaison between theoretical knowledge and practical skill, students who finish it are expected to be qualified physicians who can manage common diseases independently and adapt easily to healthcare system in their homeland.2. 3. Curriculum

4. Clinical Clerkship and Clinical Internship
Editor Notes: Students can choose to do the internship/training in China, their home country or any other country.
The core clinical curriculum includes clinical labs, clinical clerkships and assessment of clinical internship. All students are required to complete the 16-week Medicine, 16-week Surgery, 8-week Pediatrics and 8-week Obstetrics and Gynecology internship.
5. Graduation
Editor Notes: Students are required to meet requiremts of graduation before awarding MBBS degree.
Students in the international medical undergraduate program must graduate with qualified grade and complete all courses in this program to receive their degree according to Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Academic Degrees and Detailed Rules for degree granting in QDU.

-Obtain a police clearance certificate from the local police station where you currently reside, confirming no criminal record in the past 6 months at the time of application.

-Download the form template, print it, and bring it to a hospital for the required medical tests. The hospital will complete the form with your results.

-The medical results are valid for 6 months only.
-Forms that are incomplete, lack a final physician’s suggestion, missing the attending physician’s signature, official hospital stamp, or applicant’s sealed photo will be considered invalid.
